Eddie Becker Band at State Park Saturday

Award-winning songwriter Eddie Becker and his band come to Berkeley Springs State Park Saturday, August 11 as part of the 26th annual Summer Concerts in the Park series produced by the Morgan Arts Council. The concert starts at 5:30 p.m.

Rain location is the nearby Ice House art center. For over 40 years, Eddie Becker and his guitar have been fixtures on the Washington, D.C. music scene.

He and his band play a rich mix of oldies, 60’s soul music, rock-a-billy, roots rock, swing & boogie, R&B, jazz, Chicago-style blues and more and are known especially for their crowd-pleasing style. The Eddie Becker Band’s playlist also features originals from Becker, an award-winning songwriter who now makes his home in Charles Town.

Major sponsors for the Summer Concert series are a Lot 12, Best Western Berkeley Springs Inn and the Star Theatre. Additional funding support comes from the National Endowment for the Arts and the West Virginia Commission on the Arts as well as local hotel-motel tax revenues.
