Nature walk at Cacapon State Park

The Potomac Valley Audubon Society will sponsor an evening nature walk at Cacapon State Park on Thursday, August 2.

The walk will begin at 8:30 p.m. at the Park's Nature Center and last about two hours.

It will be led by Park Naturalist Renee Fincham and Master Naturalist Clark Dixon.

It will be free and anyone with an interest is welcome to go along. No pre-registration is needed.

Participants should go prepared with a flashlight, insect repellant and comfortable walking shoes.

The hike will be on park trails and uneven terrain in fading light to full dark. It will take place rain or shine.
