WV’s premier rhythm and blues band
The trademark country-soul sound of the Carpenter Ants comes to Berkeley Springs State Park Saturday, July 21. Part of the Morgan Arts Council’s Summer Concerts in the Park, the concert starts at 5:30 p.m. Rain location is the nearby Ice House art center.
For the past 25 years, The Carpenter Ants have been performing, winning international as well as regional fans with their rich, soulful harmonies, stinging solos and a rock-solid rhythm section complete with saxophone.
The Ant’s guitarist, Michael Lipton, is house guitarist for Mountain Stage and founder of the WV Music Hall of Fame.
