Concert to benefit Starting Points

The BlackCat Music Shop, Adam Kary and Jonathan McBee are planning the BlackCat Music and Arts Festival.

They’ve partnered with Starting Points of Morgan County to throw a party to benefit the local charity.

It’s an outdoor show at the Triple B Area, near Berkeley Springs. They expect 11 bands, featuring some of the best regional talent. There will be artists and crafters, lots of food, raffles and prizes, stuff for the kids to do, even tarot reading, and of course, music with the Whistle Pigs, The Flashbacks, John Howell, the School of Rock All Stars and others.

The show lasts from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 30.

The proceeds benefit Starting Points and its Mealtime Community Kitchen program in Morgan County.

Advance tickets are available at the BlackCat Music Shop, 91 North Washington Street, Berkeley Springs or call 304-258-4440. Tickets will be available at the arena on the day of the show.
