Diabetes support group

The Morgan County Diabetes Education and Support Group will meet Thursday, June 7, at 6:30 p.m. in Education Room B at War Memorial Hospital located at 1 Healthy Way off of Fairview Drive in Berkeley Springs.

“Protect Your Vision: The Dilated Eye Exam” will be presented by Paul Cooper, MS, RN, director of education at War Memorial Hospital. He will show a short video by Lions Club International which focuses on the importance of the dilated eye exam for people with diabetes. He will explain the dilated eye exam and its benefits, and why diabetics should get the exam each year.

The program is free and open to the public. Diabetic patients, their family members, and caregivers are encouraged to attend.
