The boys had no winners, but did have several second place finishes. Reynolds was third in the 400, Smith was third in the shot put, and Michael Twigg finished third in the high jump. Tyler Ryan was fourth in the long jump and Wolfe took fifth in the 400.
The results of the girls meet were unavailable at press time, but, the Lady Indians brought home three gold medals. Harlie Stotler won both the shot put and discus and Sarah Haynes won the long jump. Haynes also placed second in the high jump, while Jordan Bennett took silver in the long jump and Casey Solomon bronze in the high jump.
"I thought we improved in a lot of areas," Berkeley Springs Coach Dave Mundey said of the meet. “Most of the relay teams showed marked improvement and we are starting to get an idea of where everyone fits. I think having this week off will help us continue to build on what we have and improve in some areas; it should be good for us."
Berkeley Springs is off until April 17 when they host a triangular meet beginning at 4 p.m.
