Master Gardeners offer scholarship
Again this year the Morgan County Master Gardeners are offering their annual scholarship to both Morgan County high schools.
A $500 scholarship will be awarded to one senior at each high school who has been accepted to a West Virginia institute of higher learning and is pursuing a degree or certification in horticulture, agriculture, forestry or a similar field of environmental study.
Application packets are now available in the Guidance Departments at Berkeley Springs and Paw Paw High Schools and on their respective websites as well.
Completed applications will be accepted at the WVU Extension Office until Friday, April 27. Questions may be directed to the Morgan County Master Gardeners Scholarship Committee at the WVU Extension Office, 129 Fairfax St., Berkeley Springs, WV 25411 or call the office at 304-258-8400.
