Recent sentences by Magistrate Kermit Ambrose:

Allen Ray Swisher, 33, of Chester Lane, Berkeley Springs, was sentenced to six months in jail – all but five days of which was suspended – for violating a court protective order. He must also pay $416 fine & court fees.
Rodney Eugene Johnson, 46, of Nadenbush Lane, Inwood, was given a suspended sentence of a year in jail and placed on a year’s probation for destruction of property. He must also pay $191 fees.

Emily Beth Somers, 20, of James Street, Berkeley Springs, was placed on a year’s probation and ordered to pay $432 fine & fees for possession of a controlled substance and driving while her license was suspended.

Ashley Nicole Rucker, 22, of Fruit Hill Farm Lane, Berkeley Springs, was ordered to pay $507 in fines & fees for driving while her license was suspended and speeding.

Jesse Laque Hayes, 19, of Valley Road, Berkeley Springs, was ordered to pay $486 fine & fees for driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages.

Jennifer L. Walsh, 36, of Oak Hill Road, Berkeley Springs, was placed on two years probation and ordered to pay $216 fine & court fees for obstructing an officer.

Robert D. O’Toole, 63, of Spriggs Road, Berkeley Springs, was ordered to pay $461 fine & fees for driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
Gene Franklin Bussard, Jr., 37, of North Milk & Water Road, Everett, Pa. was ordered to pay $316 in fines & fees for defective equipment (charge reduced from DUI) and seatbelt violations.
