Indian Cheer Clinic dates are set

Under the direction of team coaches Tina Stotler, Joyce Jamison, Sarabeth Swope and Toni Leslie, the 2012 Berkeley Springs High School cheer team will be holding a four night clinic for students interested in the sport of cheer.

The clinic will encompass all aspects of cheerleading from conditioning, motion technique, voice projection, jumps, dance and limited tumbling and stunting based on age group.

Any child, ages Pre-K-11 grade, interested in cheerleading, this will be an opportunity for them to experience the basics of the sport in a well-supervised environment. At the end of the clinic there will be a short program for parents to observe what their child has achieved.

The hours of the clinic will be 6-8 p.m. on March 5, 6, 12 and 13 in the high school gym. Look for next week’s paper for sign-up forms and costs.
