Benjamin Joseph Guthrie, 50, of Bloomery Pike, Cross Junction, Va. was sentenced to six months in jail and ordered to pay $291 fine & court fees for driving while his license was revoked for DUI.

Recent sentences by Magistrate Greg Miller:

Jacob Richard Freels, 21, of Happy Valley Circle, Berkeley Springs, was given a suspended sentence of 90 days in jail and placed on a year’s probation for unlawful detention. He must also pay $191 court fees.

Misty D. Clingerman, 32, of Highland Ridge Road, Berkeley Springs, was given a suspended sentence of 30 days in jail for petit larceny. In lieu of the jail time, she must work 10 days of community service and pay $166 fees.

Ashley Marie Hewitt, 24, of Copperline Trail, Great Cacapon, was placed on six months probation and ordered to pay $191 fees for possession of a controlled substance.
