Recent sentences by Mag-istrate Kermit Ambrose:
The felony case against Travis Justin Garcia, 26, of Magnolia Road, Paw Paw, was sent on to the January Grand Jury after he waived a preliminary hearing on a charge of burglary.
The felony case against Brian Scott Farris, 32, of Winchester Street, Paw Paw, was sent on to the January Grand Jury after he waived a preliminary hearing on a charge of being an accessory to burglary.
The felony case against Matthew J. Bollman, 38, of Great Cacapon was sent on to the January Grand Jury after Bollman waived a preliminary hearing on a charge of domestic battery, third offense.
The felony case against Adam Michael Bright, 28, of Slanesville was sent on to the January Grand Jury after Bright waived a preliminary hearing on a charge of driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages, third offense.
The felony case against Daniel C. Courtney, 23, of Springbrook Drive, Berkeley Springs, was sent on to the January Grand Jury after probable cause was found. Court-ney is charged with fleeing while driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
Thomas Edgar Miller, 47, of Myers Road, Berkeley Springs, was sentenced to six months in jail – three months of which was suspended — for domestic battery and obstructing an officer. He must also pay $411 in court fees and will be on a year’s probation after his release.
Cyrus Jeremiah Meade, 20, of Waterstone Lane, Berkeley Springs, was sentenced to six months in jail – all but 14 days of which was suspended – for domestic battery. He must also pay $220 in fees and will be placed on a year’s probation.
Nicole Lynn Cross, 32, of Chase Lane, Berkeley Springs, was given a suspended sentence of 90 days in jail and placed on eight months probation for domestic battery. She must also pay $191 costs.
David Lee Bennett, 26, of Berkeley Springs was given a suspended sentence of five days in jail and instead ordered to work 40 hours of community service for reckless driving. He must also pay $191 costs.
Yureacia Danette Parker, 38, of Chilworth Court, Virginia Beach, Va. was ordered to pay $492 in fines & fees for driving while her license was suspended and speeding.
David Lee Clarke, 42, of Nationwide Lane, Berkeley Springs, was ordered to pay $486 fine & fees for driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
Jason Leon Thomas Valentine, 31, of Valley Road, Berkeley Springs, was ordered to pay $486 fine & fees for driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
Cody Lee Sargent, 18, of Greenway Drive, Berkeley Springs, was ordered to pay $201 fine & fees for trespassing.
