Sheriff Vince Shambaugh reports the following calls, investigations and reports this past week:

September 4
Report of a reckless driver in the area of Fairview Drive and Sandmine Road. BOLO issued.

September 5
Animal complaint on Moni-ca Trail. Advised of options.
Report of juveniles throwing rocks at a building. Subjects not located.

September 6
Physical domestic disturbance on Michael’s Chapel Road. Arrest of Harry J. McMahon III for domestic assault, DUI and driving revoked.

Motorists assisted on Fairfax Street.

Report of suspicious activity on Valley Road. Nothing found.

Burglary complaint taken on Wild Rose Court.

Report of a hit run on Valley Road. Unfounded.

Burglary complaint taken on Cherry Lane.

Process service completed on Fulton Road.

Report of a suspicious vehicle at Reed’s. Subject was sleeping, advised to move on.

Report of a domestic disturbance on Michael’s Chapel Road. Male subject GOA. Advised female of options.

Two vehicle crash on River Road involving a Head Start Bus. Three injuries. Arrest of Cresencio Lopez for obstructing an officer, no insurance and other multiple violations.

September 7
Single vehicle crash on New Hope Road. Property damage only.

Report of larceny on Fear-now Road. Property returned.

Report of threats on Nevel Lane. Attempted to locate vehicle, unable to locate.

Complaint of fraud taken at the Sheriff’s Office.

Report of possible missing persons/kidnapping taken at the Sheriff’s Office. Checked the area and subjects located.

Report of a domestic battery in Paw Paw. Subject refused to pursue charges.

September 8
Residential burglar alarm on Justin Lane. All secure.

Arrest of Tracy Gregory on warrant.

Single vehicle crash on Winchester Grade Road. Property damage only.

Report of harassment in Fox’s Hollow. Advised caller of options.

Trespassing complaint taken on Valley Road.

Welfare check on Cooks Road. Subjects all secure.

Arrest of Roger “Gene” Harvey for possession of marijuana less than fifteen grams. Subject cited and released.

Arrest of Martyn E. McNamee for DUI.

Arrest of Earl James for DUI.

September 9
Report of a 911 hang-up on Highland Ridge Road. All secure.

Two vehicle crash on Jim West Road. Property damage only.

Assisted with search of elderly subject on Pine Grove Road. Subject located.

Report of a reckless driver on River Road. Vehicle GOA.

EMS assisted on Twin Mountain View Lane.

Report of disabled tractor and trailer on Valley Road. Vehicle pulled from roadway.

Report of a single vehicle crash on Waugh Road. Vehicle slid off the roadway. No damage.

Arrest of Denise Deaver for driving suspended and failure to maintain control. Subject cited and released.

September 10
Arrest of Lara Haynes for DUI.

Commercial burglar alarm on Valley Road. All secure.

Commercial burglar alarm on Valley Road. All secure.

Report of shots heard on Casto Road.

Welfare check on Central Avenue. Subject was not home.

Verbal domestic disturbance on Dixie Terrace. Advised both subjects of options.

Report of female subject wanting to be hit by train. Subject located and released to parents.
