Two sentenced, probations revoked

Circuit Judge Gina Groh sentenced two people and revoked the probation of two others in Morgan County Circuit Court in the past week.

Sentences

Tawana Michelle Bygrave, 35, of Martinsburg was given a suspended two-year sentence after pleading guilty to battery and conspiracy on Thursday, December 13.

As part of her plea bargain, Bygrave was placed on three years probation and must testify against her codefendants, Keean Hensen and John L. Potter, both of Martinsburg.

The charges against all three grew out of a July 19 incident in which one of their associates was allegedly taken from his home near the Berkeley County line and was beaten and left by the roadside in a dispute over money.

Judge Groh also sentenced Titus

Myers, 38, of Aurora, Indiana to one-

to-three years in prison after Myers pled guilty to failing to pay child support. His sentence runs concurrently with another one-to-three year sentence for similar charges.

Probation revoked

Judge Groh revoked probation for Jason T. Bland, 28, of Berkeley Springs on Monday, December 17.

Bland must now serve one-to-15 years in prison for delivery of heroin, to which he had previously pled guilty and received a suspended sentence.

Probation was also revoked for Greta Fox, 39, of Berkeley Springs who had previously pled no contest to the misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Fox must now serve a year in the Eastern Regional Jail for that offense.
