Recent sentences by Magistrate Greg Miller:

Jason Michael Cannon, 30, of Greenspring was sentenced to a year in jail and ordered to pay $521 in fines & court costs for fleeing from an officer and reckless driving. His sentence runs concurrent with a Hampshire County sentence and then he will be placed on a year's probation.

Jason Lloyd Yaider, 32, of Ridgeley was sentenced to six months in jail, followed by a year's probation, for petit larceny. He was also ordered to pay $2,114 restitution and $161 costs.

Steve Henry, 29, of Hudson Court, Berkeley Springs, was placed on a year's probation for destruction of property. He must pay $236 fine & costs as well as $898 restitution.

Robert Alonza Jackson, Sr., 42, of Fairview Drive, Berkeley Springs, was placed on six months probation and ordered to pay $381 costs for possession of a controlled substance and following too closely.

Robin Lynn Virts, 41, of Posey Hollow Road, Berkeley Springs, was sentenced to 10 days in jail and ordered to pay $261 fine & costs for driving with a suspended license (second offense).

Bryan Scott Sikes, 32, of Hancock was ordered to pay $181 fine & costs for hunting without permission.

Recent sentences by Magistrate Kermit Ambrose:

John Wesley Ray, Sr., 45, of Thornberry Drive, Martinsburg, was given a suspended sentence of 30 days in jail and placed on a year's probation for battery. He must also pay $339 costs and $178 restitution.
