One man sentenced,probations revoked
One man was sentenced and probation was revoked for two others by Circuit Judge Gina Groh in Morgan County Circuit Court on November 19.
Shannon D. Marshall, 21, of Barber Lane, Berkeley Springs, was given a suspended sentence of 2-to-16 years in prison after pleading guilty to breaking and entering, driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages while his license was revoked, and destruction of property. The charges all arose from a break-in in February.
Marshall was placed on five years probation and must pay $100 fine plus restitution still to be determined, according to the Morgan County Circuit Clerk's Office.
Judge Groh revoked probation for William J. Kloster, 46, of Rockford Road, Great Cacapon, after Kloster admitted to probation violations. He must now serve a year in the Eastern Regional Jail for a drug charge.
Probation was also revoked for Billy Murphy, 47, of Hedgesville. Murphy must now serve the last nine months of a year's sentence for failing to pay child support.
