Chief Deputy Vince Shambaugh reported the following calls from September 11-16, 2007:

September 11

Single vehicle accident report taken on New Hope Road.

Phone harassment complaint taken at the Dollar General Store. Report turned over to BSPD.

Single vehicle accident report taken on Winchester Grade Road.

September 12

Single vehicle accident report taken in Fritz's Mobile Home Park. Charges pending.

September 13

Alarm at Morgan Ridge Subdivision. All appeared secure.

Larceny report taken on Creek Road.

Arrest of Robert W. Black Jr. for DUI third offense.

Arrest of Anthony R. Hayes on a kidnapping warrant.

Arrest of Michael A. Martz for DUI first offense and no operators license.

Single vehicle accident report taken in Fox's Hollow.

Destruction of property report taken at Cherry Run Church.

September 14

Single vehicle accident on Rt. 9 West. Deer struck, report taken.

September 15

Domestic disturbance on Wilkes Street. Assisted BSPD. K-9 deployed, subject located who had left prior to police arrival.

Destruction of property report taken on Eppinger Road.

Destruction of property report taken at War Memorial Hospital. Vehicle damaged.

Arrest of Jonathan R. Hayes for obstructing and public intoxication.

September 16

Destruction of property report taken at Little Creek subdivision.

Burglary report taken in Orleans Crossroads.

MCSD also responded to 17 additional calls not requiring written reports, issued eight traffic citations and warnings, served 35 civil papers, conducted seven home confinement checks and completed five transports this past week.
