STS statement about explosion

Statement from STS International about last week's propane stove explosion:

On Tuesday morning, July 24, four employees at STS International were injured from an accidental flash fire at an STS facility located on Winchester Grade Road in Berkeley Springs.

All four employees were transported from the scene and are now recovering from the injuries at Washington Hospital Center. Currently all four are in stable condition with burns to their bodies.

Ted Morgan, president of STS, said: "Our greatest concern is for the wellness of the employees hurt in this accident. My sympathies go out to their families and friends. I learned of the incident while on a business trip in Minnesota and returned immediately to Washington, D.C. and to the hospital where the STS employees are being treated. The cause of the accident is still under investigation."

David Morgan vice president of STS International, stated: "We are still working with all of the local and state authorities to figure out exactly what happened. At this time the accident is still under investigation. I have been very impressed with the professionalism of the fire department and all of the first responders that came to our emergency on Tuesday. Due to their quick response, our employees received the immediate care they needed."
