Wednesday, July 25

8:30-9:30 a.m. Meet at the Nature Center for a morning bird walk.

11-11:45 a.m. Crafts!: Meet at the Nature Center.

2-3 p.m. Meet the naturalist at the Nature Center to begin study on aquatic invertebrates found in the stream.

4-5 p.m. Meet at the nature Center to see who can find the ugliest bug in Cacapon.

7:30 p.m. Special Program Tonight: Meet at the tales told by WV's greatest liar Bil Lepp, in the Washington Room at the Lodge. All ages.

Thursday, July 26

10-11 a.m. Ridge Trail: Go to the Naure Center to begin this 1 1/2 mile hike.

11-11:30 a.m. Join at the Nature Center for this eyewitness series movie on how animals are able to survive in the wild.

4:30-5:30 p.m. Take a step back in time and discover the park's history. Take a short walk and talk about the Civilian Conervation Corp and the legacy they left behind. Camp Morgan was located here.

8-9 p.m. Meet the naturalist at the Nature Center in the picnic area to learn more about the most feared night creature.

Friday, July 27

11-11:30 a.m. Which bear can run at 30 miles per hour? How did the Teddy Bear get its name? Join for this afternoon movie in the Nature Center.

1:30-2:30 p.m. Join the naturalist for this relaxing walk to discover wildflower folklore and medicinal values at the lodge to hike and learn.

4-5 p.m. Learn the basics of reading a compass and test yourself on a simple orienteering course. Meet at the Nature Center.

7:30-8:30 p.m. Deer Stroll: Meet the naturalist at the lodge.

Saturday, July 28

8 a.m. 4th Annual 5K run/walk race: Join us at the Gazebo to sign up for race. Medals to the top male and female three winners in each age group. Registration fee begins 7 a.m.

2-3 p.m. Tracks Among Us: Meet at the Nature Center to make a plaster of paris track to take home.

4-4:30 p.m. Meet at the sand volleyball court for a fun family-oriented volleyball game.

8-9 p.m. Cacapon Campfire: Meet at the Campfire Circle beside the Nature Center for a marshmallow roasting.

Sunday, July 29

10-11 a.m. Piney Ridge: Meet the naturalist at the lodge for this 3/4 mile interpretive trail.

1-1:30 p.m. Nature Bingo: Meet at the Nature Center.

3-3:30 p.m. Ultimate Frisbee: Go to the Nature Center to begin this fun game of frisbee.
