MCOF July Star party

Morgan County Observatory will host a public Star Party at the observatory Friday evening July 31 beginning at 9 p.m. Jupiter, Saturn, Venus and the Hercules cluster are all visible in the summer skies. There will be stargazing, refreshments, movies and hands on astronomy exhibits to entertain folks of all ages. Admission is free to all and donations are encouraged.
Recent contributors are United Way of the Eastern Panhandle, Seely Foundation, Anne Chiapella and John Frye, Bertha Muti and Tom Wellems, For a limited time all donations of $50 or more will be memorialized on Founding Members' plaques to be displayed inside the observatory.
