Inkjets sought for Kaleb

I have been reading about a 7-month-old baby boy, Kaleb Schwade, in Tampa, Florida who was shaken and smothered by his babysitter and is currently in Intensive Care fighting for his life.

Doctors have told his young parents, who have to wear masks and robes to see their child, that it is doubtful he will pull through and if he does, he will be in a vegetative state. He has undergone many surgeries and procedures since May 9, when he was admitted to the hospital. His parents remain hopeful and have only asked for the prayers of others in the hopes that simple prayer will bring a miracle to their little guy.

His mother, Kristy, updates thousands of people on the condition of him from her myspace page on a daily basis. There are thousands of people all over the world praying for this baby boy.

In addition to praying for him, though, there are many fundraisers being held in his behalf. I am asking you to help me with one in particular.

There is a company in Florida that is collecting empty ink cartridges. They are offering up to $5 for every cartridge donated! Now $5 may not seem like much but believe me when I tell you that their hospital bills alone will go into the hundreds of thousands. What if something like this happened to one of our own?

We can help in Morgan County! I will be placing a gray tub on the steps of the MDG Realty showroom on the corner of Rock Gap Road and U.S. 522 as a collection for empty ink cartridges. The tub will be clearly labeled "Ink Cartridges for Kaleb."
