Science Fair

Warm Springs Intermediate School held its annual Science Fair during the week of December 15. Many ambitious and thoughtful projects were presented. WSIS Librarian Susan Thomas, coordinated the fair and Ciondy Smalley, Sara Wuertenberg and Molly Colyer judged the entries.

All WSIS fourth and fifth grade students were eligible to participate. These students received citations for their projects:

Chemistry - individual, Lakin Younker, first place.

Chemistry - team, Trevor Lynch/Antonio Domich, first place and Cierra Everly/Tiffany Youngblood, second place.

Microbiology - Eliza Caperton, first place.

Engineering - Devin Myer, first place.

Medicine and health - Samantha Zombro, first place.

Earth and space science - Colin McLaughlin, first place.

Behavioral science - individual, Charlie Grover, first place.

Environmental science - team, Brady Tritapoe/Quintin Thompson.

Physics - individual, Chaston Clatterbuck, first place and Ryan Brandenburg, second place.

Physics - team, Liam Khuen/Jenzen Harris.
