Allemong gets hole-in-one

Cacapon Men's Golf Association held their annual individual gross and net tournament on Sunday, June 10 at Cacapon State Park.

Troy Mezzatesta won the gross division with a fine score of even-par 72. Tim Smailes finished second with a 75 and Arley Lambert took third with a 76.

Don Swaim won the net division with a net score of 61, followed by Lem Dirting with 64 and Melvin Mcodonald with a 67.

But, Steve "Blinker" Allemong had the shot of the day. Allemong scored a hole-in-one on the par-3 15th hole, his first career ace.
