Student expelled for drugs
May 15, 2007
Another Berkeley Springs High School student has been expelled for drug possession on school property. The 16-year-old male 10th grader was expelled for 45 days after a disciplinary hearing at the May 1 meeting of the Morgan County School Board.
To be readmitted to school, the student will have to prove he stays drug-free for a year and has to attend regular counseling sessions.
Two students were expelled last month because of drug distribution, and a third was suspended from school for possessing prescription drugs.
