Recent sentences by Magistrate Kermit Ambrose:

Philip Charles McAnulty, Jr., 24, of Laurel Hill Lane, Berkeley Springs, was given a suspended sentence of a year in jail and ordered to pay $186 court costs for domestic battery. He was placed on probation and must attend counseling.

Miguel Carrillo Hernandez, 34, address unknown, was sentenced to six months & a day in jail and ordered to pay $656 fine & costs for driving while his license was revoked and driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages.

Wendy L. Smith 33, of McCusker Lane, Berkeley Springs, was sentenced to 90 days in jail and ordered to pay $526 costs & fees for domestic battery. All but eight days of the jail term were suspended and she was placed on a year's probation, during which time she must attend counseling.

William Floyd Clark, 18, of Swallow Court, Berkeley Springs, was given a suspended sentence of 15 days in jail for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He must work 120 hours of community service and pay $211 fine & costs.

Michael Wayne Ramsey, 54, of Harrison Avenue, Berkeley Springs, was sentenced to eight days in jail and ordered to pay $575 fine & costs for permitting another person to drive while under the influence of alcoholic beverages.



Gerald Richard Shoemaker, 47, of Shoemaker Lane, Berkeley Springs, was ordered to pay $211 fine & costs for public intoxication.

Recent sentences by Magistrate Greg Miller:

Donald C. Hoopengardner, 36, of Tower Circle, Berkeley Springs, was sentenced to six months in jail and ordered to pay $261 fine & court costs for driving while his license was revoked for DUI.

Hope Elizabeth Twigg, 34, of Echo Lane, Berkeley Springs, was sentenced to six months in jail and ordered to pay $186 costs for possession of a controlled substance.

Robert D. Benson, 32, of Berkeley Springs was given a suspended sentence of six months in jail and was placed on a year's probation for domestic battery. He must also pay $186 costs.

Larry F. Ziegler, 65, of Flosway Lane, Berkeley Springs, was sentenced to a day in jail and ordered to pay $504 fine & costs for driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages.

David K. Junkins, 36, of Lafayette Rd., North Kingstown, Rhode Island, was sentenced to a day in jail and ordered to pay $161 costs for destruction of property.

Lori Morris, 23, of Venetin Way, Berkeley Springs, was ordered to pay $437 restitution & costs for two worthless checks.
