Waugh-Jackson wedding

Brandy C. Jackson and Donald W. Waugh were united in marriage October 21, 2006 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Charles Town. Pastor Richard Kroll performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Sue and the late Timothy Taylor of Charles Town. She is the granddaughter of Alice and the late Harry Jackson, Sr.

The groom is the son of Shirley and Donald Waugh of Charles Town. He is the grandson of Marguerite "Dolly" Ziler Harden and the late Ward Raymond Ziler.

Escorted by her uncle Harry "Bubby" Jackson, Jr., and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a sleeveless gown with pearls and rhinestones, a six foot train and white veil trimmed in pearls and sequins. She carried a bouquet of fresh fall flowers.

Maid of honor was Nikomie Taylor, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Cheryl Thompson, Heather Drewey, Angela Knott and Tracey Hockensmith. Flower girl was Noel Waugh, daughter of the groom.

The groom wore a white tuxedo with white tie and vest. Best man was Donald R. Waugh, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Alexander Jackson, Les Johnson, Michael Knott and Eric Whittington. Usher was Dwayne Wolfe, uncle of the bride.

The bride's mother wore a white pant suit and the groom's mother wore a mauve floor length dress.

Guestbook and program attendant was Bunny Jackson, aunt of the bride.

A reception was held at St. Leo's Catholic Church in the heritage hall of Inwood.

A three-tiered basket woven cake with an autumn arrangement was served.

The bride and groom are both 1998 graduates of Jefferson High School.

The couple will reside in Ranson.
