50th anniversary

FRANKLIN AND MILDRED COURTNEY of Hancock celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 15. They were honored at a family dinner held at Mrs. Gibbles Restaurant in Greencastle, Pa. Their anniversary cake was a two tiered red velvet decorated with a miniature bride and groom, gold wedding rings and several white doves. They have four children and four grandchildren.
