Chief Deputy Vince Shambaugh reported these recent calls:
Arrest of Daniel E. Tracey for home confinement revocation on February 20.
Trespassing report taken on Fairbee Road on February 20. Arrest pending.
Attempted breaking and entering report taken on Fairbee Road on February 20.
Domestic disturbance on Laurel Hill Lane on February 21. All verbal.
Domestic disturbance on Martinsburg Road on February 21. Advised of options.
Single vehicle accident on Route 13 on February 21. Report taken.
Threats complaint on Maines Church Lane on February 21. Area patrolled, no problems.
Breaking and entering report taken at Morgan Sanitation on February 22.
Single vehicle accident report taken on Meyers Road on February 22.
Phone harassment complaint on Mahnes Church Lane on February 22.
Arrest of Jeffrey Cole Jr. for DUI on February 22.
Arrest of Corey Henry for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver on February 22.
Alarm responded to at Monte Vista subdivision on February 22. All appeared secure.
Search warrant executed at 310 North Laurel Avenue on February 23. SWAT team, the Sheriffs' K-9, three deputies utilized along with one BSPD officer. Successful raid, illegal drugs and money seized, one arrest made.
Arrest of Khalil Ali Nelson for delivery of a controlled substance from the search warrant listed above.
Assist WVSP with a person threatening to commit suicide on Rockford Road on February 24.
Welfare check/follow up on a Child Protective Services complaint of children left home alone on Kerns' Lane on February 24. Unfounded, children were supervised.
Assist Hancock Police Dept. with a pursuit into Morgan County on February 24. Driver turned onto CSX access then fled on foot. Sheriffs' K-9 and handler tracked suspect to a camper along the river. Charges pending.
Assault complaint taken on Rockford Road on February 24.
Noise complaint on Valley Road on February 24. Deputy responded, unable to hear anything in the area.
Battery complaint taken on Rockford Road on February 25.
Single vehicle accident on Rt. 13 on February 25. Driver left scene. Charges pending.
MCSD also issued 10 traffic citations and warnings, responded to 25 service calls not requiring reports, served 31 civil papers and conducted three transports this past week.
