Motorist assisted at the 11000 block of Martinsburg Road. Vehicle disabled by deer on January 8.

Reported destruction of property in the area of Lineweaver Road. Vehicle located, bogus report. Subject was in field looking for a dog on January 8.

Arrest of Michael L. Day, age unknown, for a probation revocation warrant on January 8.

Arrest of Ryhan Weaver, 25, for leaving the scene of a vehicle accident on January 9.

Arrest of Christopher Fyne Yost, 34, for petit larceny on January 9.

Alarm on Highland Ridge Road. All secure on January 10.

Destruction of property report taken at Southern Belle Truckstop on January 10.

Possession of a controlled substance report taken at Rite Aid parking lot on January 11.

Arrest of Hope Twigg, age unknown, for possession of a controlled substance on January 11.

Arrest of Steven B. Wink, age unknown, on a bench warrant on January 11.

Fraudulent schemes reported by six different residents on January 11. Investigation continues.

Burglary report taken on Cacapon Road on January 11.

Alarm on Mason Road on January 11. All secure.

Domestic disturbance at the Catawba Club on January 11. All verbal.



Destruction of property report taken at Potomac River subdivision on January 12.

Domestic disturbance at the Food Lion lot on January 12. Contacted both parties, all verbal.

Reported breaking and entering in progress in Briary Bottom Lane on January 12. Residence searched and cleared by two deputies and K-9. All in order.

Stolen auto reported on Harness Hill Lane on January 13. Car located and returned to owner same day.

Domestic disturbance on Mesner Road on January 13. Report taken, charges pending.

K-9 search area near Bethel Road in Paw Paw for two juveniles who fled following a short vehicle pursuit. Juveniles located and arrested about three miles from the vehicle they had abandoned on January 13.

Arrest of a male juvenile on Bethel Road for fleeing from police in a vehicle and on foot on January 13.

Arrest of a female juvenile on Bethel Road for fleeing on foot on January 13.

False pretense report taken at 7-11 on January 14.

Suspicious vehicle reported in the area of Concord Ave. on January 14. Vehicle located, VIN ran, all in order.

MCSD issued 24 traffic citations and warnings, served 42 civil papers, completed 21 calls not requiring reports, completed seven transports this past week.

January 16

Burglary on Hammond Street, report taken.

Suspicious vehicle on Green Gate Road. Located vehicle, advised driver to move on.

Telephone harassment report taken at the Sheriff's office.

Arrest of Priscilla Stanley, age unknown, on a Monongahela County warrant.

Runaway report taken at Harness Hill Lane.

January 17

Reported boating accident in the Potomac River near Sleepy Creek. Assisted Maryland State Police, Berkeley Springs Volunteer Fire Company and Washington County Sheriff's department. Search conducted by helicopter and ground units. Unfounded.

Assist WV State Police with a reported burglary in progress on Central Avenue.

Arrest of Mike Baber, age unknown for domestic battery.

911 hang up on Berkeley Lane. All in order.

Domestic dispute on South Laurel Ave. All verbal.

Welfare check on Morgan Lane. All in order.

Reckless driver on Valley Road. Vehicle located and stopped, citations issued.

January 18

Underage alcohol possession complaint at Berkeleey Springs High School.

Trespassing complaint on Harrison Avenue. Suspect gone on arrival.

Arrest of Johnnie Gallagher, age unknown, for driving and revoked for DUI and speeding.

January 19

Shoplifting reported at Food Lion. Subject cited and released.

Forgery report taken at the Panorama.

Burglary report taken on Limestone Pond Lane.

Child custody issue on Tabor Road. Civil matter.

Assist WV State police with the arrest of a fleeing reckless driver near Southern Belle Truck Stop.

Domestic dispute on Paw Paw Road. All verbal.

Alarm on Valley Road. All appeared secure.

Alarm on Prospect Peak Lane. All appeared secure.

Trespass complaint taken in Briary Bottom.

Attempted suicide on Log Cabin Lane. Subject transported by Morgan County Rescue Service.

Noise complaint at Oriental Circle. Spoke to parties, advised to turn music down.

January 21

Reported accident at intersection of Highland and Winchester Grade Roads, responded, nothing found.

Domestic dispute on Biser Street, all verbal.

Runaway report taken, considerable time spent looking for juvenile, juvenile returned to prosecutor.

Burglary report taken on Central Avenue.

Single vehicle accident on Johnson's Mill Road. Report taken.

Single vehicle accident on River Road. Report taken.

Single vehicle accident on New Hope Road. Report taken.

January 22

Single vehicle accident on New Hope Road. Minimal damages, assisted driver in getting underway. No report needed.

Violation of protective order report at Sheriff's Office. Unfounded.

Animal complaint of dog unsheltered on Cold Run Valley Road. Investigation continues.

MCSD personnel also issued 21 traffic citations and warnings, served 41 civil papers, responded to 28 service calls not requiring written reports and conducted six transports this past week.
