School service personnel changes
In school service personnel news, Walt Beddow, custodian at Warm Springs Intermediate School, retired effective at the end of the day December 31, 2006.
Wendy Ryan was employed as a half-time special education Aide II at Paw Paw Elementary School effective November 29, 2006.
Cheryl Irwin, Tammi Dheel, Wendy Ryan and Vernon Puffenberger were employed as substitute custodians effective January 10.
Sharon Carpenter and Elizabeth Sutton were employed as substitute secretaries effective January 10.
Tamila Redick resigned as substitute cook, effective November 28, 2006.
Michael Bergen transferred from Bus Operator assigned to Pleasant View, Morgan Village, Route 9 to the position of Bus Operator assigned to Tabor Road, Oakland Road, Creek Road, effective November 29, 2006.
Josh Place transferred from Bus Operator assigned to Detour Road, Milo School Road, Nebo Road to Bus Operator assigned to Pleasant View, Morgan Village, Audubon Lane, Rt. 9, effective December 13, 2006.
Greg Stotler was employed as Bus Operator (Detour Road, Youngblood Road, Mt. Nebo Road) effective January 10. Stotler was also removed from the substitute bus operator list.
Thomas Good was employed as substitute bus operator effective December 13, 2006.
Extra duty/extracurricular
Gary Gaither, Berkeley Springs High School, was employed for pre/post duty on as/if needed basis as determined by the principal effective for the 2006-2007 school year.
Donna Swaim was employed as Bus Operator for the After School Program on an as/if needed basis as determined by the Director of Transportation, effective November 29, 2006.
Jenny Carson and Sally McCumbee were employed as Homebound Instructors, effective for the remainder of the 2006-2007 school year on as/if needed basis as determined by the Director of Special Programs.
Kate Boyce, After School Coordinator, Warm Springs Middle School, was employed for the 2006-2007 school year for a maximum of nine hours per week on an as/if needed basis as determined by the Director of After School Programs.
John Brode and Susan McBee were employed as Teachers for Alternative Education After School Program at Berkeley Springs High School on an as/if needed basis as determined by the principal.
Tammi Stotler and Derrick Fox were employed as Co-Math Fair Coordinators, effective beginning with the 2006-2007 school year.
Anne Helmick was given a leave of absence as Team Leader and SAT Chair at Paw Paw Elementary, effective January 2 through June 1.
David Brown resigned as Work Based Learning Coordinator and Graduation Sponsor at Paw Paw Schools, effective at the end of the day on January 19.
Kelle Baldwin was hired as substitute teacher for Shining Stars at Widmyer Elementary, on an as/if needed basis as determined by the principal.
Jill Mellott, Andrea LaRue, Jennifer Unger, Anne Helmick, Shanna Poniris, Taunie Faidley-Buckley, Bridget Christie, Brenda Nichols, Kandy Kulus, Margee Hill, Robin Thompson, Kelle Baldwin, Elizabeth Golden, Mike Clement, Fred Kerestury. Janet Hrobak and Linda Unger were selected as members of the Morgan County Textbook Selection Committee for the 2006-2007 school year.
Robin Thompson, Christina Kirby, Marigrace Adrian, Linda Steinkamp, Jessica Schwartzmier and Kelle Baldwin were employed as Teachers for Before School Program at Warm Springs Intermediate School, from January 10 through May 10, Monday-Friday on an as/if needed basis as determined by the principal.
Coaches
Aaron Close was hired as Volunteer Assistant Basketball Coach at Berkeley Springs High School, effective for the 2006-2007 season.
Pat Logsdon was employed as an unpaid Assistant Boys Basketball Coach at Berkeley Springs High School, effective for the 2006-2007 school year.
