Civil War Roundtable meets on January 25

The Alpine Station Roundtable will meet on Thursday, January 25 at 7 p.m. at the Hancock Museum. Civil War historian Steve French will speak on "The Battle of McConnellsburg 6-29-1863."

The Alpine Station Roundtable is a group of Civil War enthusiasts from Morgan County, Hancock and surrounding areas that met informally twice last year. The group plans to meet quarterly to share their interest in area Civil War history.

The meeting is free and the public is welcome to attend. In case of severe weather, the meeting will be cancelled and rescheduled for February.
