School Extra Miler awards

Warm Springs Middle School Extra Milers awards were presented at the middle school’s local school improvement council (LSIC) presentation at the March 5 Morgan County School Board meeting. Their Extra Milers are teachers Scott Lykins, Elizabeth Golden and Josh Rider and remedial specialist Tamara Bittorf.
Greenwood Elementary Extra Milers were recognized at the school’s February 19 local school improvement council presentation to the school board. Greenwood’s Extra Milers are county technology specialist Joan Smith and teacher Robert Nixon.

Warm Springs Intermediate School Extra Milers were honored at the school’s February 5 local school improvement council presentation. Intermediate school Extra Milers are Principal Dudley Cable, teachers Deborah Ditto, Shanahan Elmore, Mariah Lykins, Tia Myers and remedial specialist Rochelle Price.

Paw Paw Schools Extra Milers were acknowledged at the school’s January 15 local school improvement council presentation.

Paw Paw Extra Milers are teachers Carol Coryea, Beth Delawder, Jeromy Duelley, Ian Helmick, Christopher Poniris and Lorra Root, library/media and technology specialist Lisa Zembower, remedial specialist Dawn Harrold, clerk/aide Janice Kump and coach and volunteer Chad Braithwaite.

The Extra Miler award is given to individuals that consistently go above and beyond job expectations and that are a positive representative for the school and school system.
