Grammy nominee misses the mark
February 15, 2013
Formerly reported album Living for a Song: A Tribute to Hank Cochran by Jamie Johnson lost out in the best country album category at the Grammies on Sunday.
Produced by Berkeley Springs local Dale Dodson and Nashville legend Buddy Cannon, the album could not surmount album Uncaged by Zac Brown.
“It’s an honor just to be nominated,” said Dodson. “I never thought I would get this far when I started out.”
Zac Brown also surpassed country music icons such as Miranda Lambert and Hunter Hayes for the top prize. This is his band’s third lifetime grammy award.
