Indians fall at home & away

Berkeley Springs was hoping to end its recent two game losing skid when Mountain View Christian Academy, Winchester, Va. came to town on January 17. Instead Mountain View raced out to a 49-23 half time lead. The Tribe whittled their deficit to six points midway through the fourth quarter, but Mountain View pulled away for an 84-71 win.
Zach Wise scored 20 points and Michael Kearney 16 for the Indians (4-5).
Fall to Spartans
Back on December 5, Bishop Walsh defeated the Berkeley Springs Indians by 34 points in the season opener. The Indians were hoping to spoil the Spartans night with a road win, but instead the Tribe came up 15 points shy by the final score 89-74.
Kyle Appel led the Indians with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocked shots. While Michael Kearney tossed in 19 points and seven rebounds. With the loss, the Indians fall to 4-4.
