Great Gray Matter Challenge returns on January 13

Trivial pursuit players and teams can plan ahead to take part in the fifth annual Great Gray Matter Challenge on Sunday afternoon, January 13.

The games will take place from 1:30 to 4 p.m. that day in the Berkeley Springs High School cafeteria. There is no admission fee and all ages can participate.

Players may attend as individuals and combine with others to make teams of four to six people, or they
can go as a prearranged team of friends or coworkers.

The teams confer and then write down answers to four sets of true/false, multiple choice or recall questions on mixed topics in arts, sciences, technologies and social studies.

The Gray Matter Challenge is sponsored by the Morgan County Forum for Arts, Sciences & Technologies (FAST) and the Morgan County Library.

For each person who participates in the 2013 Challenge, FAST will add $5 to the Morgan County Library Literacy Fund to support future literacy projects in the county.

Anyone can attend and just watch and eat free popcorn provided by the Star Theatre. There are door prizes of free tickets to the Star and a basket of brain-enhancing omega-3 foods.

To find out more, ask at the Morgan County Public Library or call the library at 304-258-3350.
