Recent sentences from Magistrate Kermit Ambrose:
Robert Dale Golden, 68, of Winchester Grade Road, Berkeley Springs, was sentenced to six months & a day in jail and ordered to pay $512 in fines & court fees for driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages (second offense) and driving while his license was suspended for DUI.

Nathaniel Frederick Haw-kins, 43, of Harrison Avenue, Berkeley Springs, was given a suspended sentence of six months in jail and placed on a year’s probation for domestic assault. He must also pay $166 fees and attend a counseling program.

Dean O. West, Jr., 39, of Bobcat Court, Berkeley Springs, was given a suspended sentence of 90 days in jail and placed on a year’s probation for obstructing an officer. He must also pay $166 fees.

Matthew Lee Ruckman, 27, of Packing House Road, Berkeley Springs, was placed on six months probation and ordered to pay $191 fees for possession of a controlled substance.

Ragtime, 68, of Daveda Court, Berkeley Springs, was ordered to pay $291 fine & fees for reckless driving.
