Strings for Food campaign

BlackCat Music is partnering with D’Addario Strings, for the second year, in its Strings for Food campaign.
From November 17-23, there will be a collection box at BlackCat. They’ll be accepting donations of non-perishable food items — that means anything that doesn’t need refrigeration —and, in return, BlackCat will clean, condition, polish and restring acoustic or electric guitar with top quality D’Addario strings for free.
Drop off the food along with the instrument. The donation will go to the local food bank to help those in need this holiday season.

BlackCat Music is at 155 Independence St., across from the Ice House and Tony’s Pizza.

There will be a grand reopening on the same dates between 4-7 p.m. with food, music and door prizes.
