Trick or Treat
Trick or Treating in the Town of Bath will be 6-8 p.m. on Halloween evening, Wednesday, October 31.
In Paw Paw, the hours for Trick or Treat are 5-7 p.m. October 31. Winchester Street will be closed to traffic from Moser Avenue to Cinder Lane and the bridge.
Trunk or Treat
Rankin Physical Therapy & Fitness center will hold their annual Trunk or Treat and Haunted House in their parking lot on Halloween. Trunk or treating is from 6-8 p.m.
Safe trick-or-treating
Young children should be accompanied by an adult and wear light colored or reflective clothing and carry a glow stick or flashlight. Costumes for children should be fire proof.
A representative of the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department will be handing out glow-in-the-dark bracelets to children in Berkeley Springs, Paw Paw and Great Cacapon on October 31.
Kids of all ages should travel in a group, stay in well lighted, populated areas and avoid back alleys or vacant lots. Never go into the home of a stranger or get into their car.
Parents should instruct their kids not to eat any treats before they are brought home and inspected.
Pets should be kept indoors and away from all candy. Chocolate can be deadly to pets if consumed in large quantities.
Hancock Halloween Parade
The 65th annual Hancock Halloween Parade sponsored by The Rotary Club of Hancock Foundation will be held on Wednesday, October 31 at 7:30 p.m.
