Coolest small town in America contest
October 12, 2012
Voting in Budget Travel magazine’s “Coolest Small Town in America” contest closes on October 15. Berkeley Springs needs local support to push ahead of Shepherdstown, the only other West Virginia town near the top, said Jeanne Mozier, self-appointed cheerleader for the effort.
“If we make it to the top ten, we could be written up in the magazine and that means a boost for business,” she said. “Besides, how can we let the world think that other town in the Panhandle is cooler?”
Voting is done at the magazine’s website.
“Berkeley Springs is already nominated so all that’s needed is to click on the vote button. And remember, we’re Berkeley Springs not Bath,” Mozier said. “This is really easy economic development for Berkeley Springs.”
