West Virginia police chiefs hold fall conference in Berkeley Springs

Bath/Berkeley Springs Police Department welcomed the West Virginia Chiefs of Police Association for the 2012 Fall Conference at The Country Inn last weekend.

Chiefs of Police from around the state gathered on Friday, September 21 to kick off their annual conference.

Berkeley Springs Chief of Police Craig A. Pearrell was the official host and worked closely with outgoing Association President Chief William Roper of the Ranson Police Department.

During the conference, in addition to the Associations business meeting, election of officers for next year was held.
Succeeding Chief Roper as president will be Chief Raymond L. Fridley of the Ripley Police Department.

Guest speaker at the closing dinner on Saturday was Justice Robin Davis of the West Virginia Supreme Court. Also in attendance and speaking was West Virginia State Treasurer John Perdue.
