Recent sentences from Magistrate Kermit Ambrose:
Larry Scott Somers, 30, of Brinkley Drive, Martinsburg, was bound over to Morgan County Circuit Court on a fugitive from justice warrant.

Lewis Jackson Hendershot, 70, of Lou’s Pony Lane, Berkeley Springs, was sentenced to a day in jail and ordered to pay $416 fine & court fees for violating an emergency protection order. He was also given a suspended sentence of six months in jail and placed on a year’s probation for destruction of property. He must pay $166 fees and complete a counseling program for that offense.

Mark Raymond, 51, of Freedom Lane, Martinsburg, was ordered to pay $176 fine & fees for having no motor vehicle inspection sticker.
