Webster gets scholarship from Tennis Association

Berkeley Springs Junior Tennis player and second seed for the Berkeley Springs High School Team, Logan Webster received a scholarship from the United States Tennis Association (USTA) to attend a Summer Nike Tennis Camp at Wintergreen Resort.

Webster along with 43 other Virginia players had five instructors from around the world.

Webster says it was a terrific experience and accomplished mark improvement with the serve and net play. His team won the Junior Davis Cup for the camp.

He began his tennis career with the Morgan County Junior Tennis Team in October of 2011.

He made it to the State Tennis Tournament as a freshman, which no other freshman has accomplished. This summer he won the Moorefield Tennis Tournament in the Men’s Division.

“He is a gifted tennis player,” said his Junior Team Tennis coach, Paula Osborne.
