School personnel changes

The Morgan County School Board approved the following personnel actions at their September 4 meeting:

Paw Paw Schools Assistant Principal Melinda Kasekamp transferred to a position as principal at the school, starting September 5.

Rebecca Miller-Gray, central office special education specialist, transferred to a position as assistant principal at Warm Springs Intermediate School, beginning September 5.

Blaine Windon was hired as halftime social studies teacher for Warm Springs Middle School, starting September 5.

Nicole Buffington was employed as Warm Springs Middle School counselor, beginning August 27.

Warm Springs Middle School counselor Lindsey Haines resigned at the end of August 29.

Sara Crosten resigned as long-term substitute science teacher during a leave of absence at Warm Springs Middle School, effective at the end of August 14.

Margaret Hill was approved for three full days at the daily rate for the extended calendar.

Specialized health care
Dudley Cable, Susan Clark, Edwina Harrington, Janice Kump, Cynthia Lease, Amy McCumbee, Pamela Mason, Ann Miller, Joclyn Riffle and Michael Webster were employed to perform specialized health care procedures.

Tammy Unger was hired to perform specialized health care at Warm Springs Intermediate School.

Supervisory aides
Susan Clark, Mary Collins, Edwina Harrington, Amy McCumbee, Ann Miller, Debra Michael, Pamela Mason, Sharon Munson, Carri Polliard, Jocyln Riffle and Michael Webster were approved as supervisory aides.

Extra duty
Lauren Beichner was selected as math team leader for Berkeley Springs High School.
Ian Helmick and Kimberly Hamrick were assigned as mentor teachers for Paw Paw Schools, as needed.

Allan Keenan and Amanda Henry were chosen as mentor teachers for Warm Springs Middle School, as needed.

Jeff Derby, Vanessa Fox, Susan McBee and Staci Smith were employed for after-school detention/Saturday school at Berkeley Springs High School, as needed.

Derrick Fox, Rachel Hopkins, Dusty McClintock and Angela Montague were hired as substitutes for after-school detention/Saturday school at Berkeley Springs High School, as needed.

Coaches
David Mundey resigned as head track coach for Berkeley Springs High School, effective at the end of August 16. Mundey was approved as an unpaid assistant track coach, beginning August 17.

Ben Kase resigned as assistant boys’ basketball coach at Berkeley Springs High School, effective at the end of September 4.

Valerie Andrews was approved as assistant cross country coach for Warm Springs Middle School.

Temporary/part-time
Janice Golden, Catherine Waugh and Ann Potter were designated Title I intervention teachers for Widmyer Elementary, as needed.

Ernest Facello, Mary Hansen and Jann Hewett were assigned as Title I intervention teachers for Pleasant View Elementary, as needed.

Ben Cianelli was hired for Title I tutoring for Paw Paw Schools, as needed.

George Ward was contracted for administrative transition not to exceed 40 days.

Patricia Place was employed as a homebound instructor, as needed.

Jacob Wills was approved for a student work study program at Paw Paw Schools, as needed, at minimum wage.

Additional position
An additional fulltime aide/autism mentor position was approved for Paw Paw Schools.
