On August 6, the college will open shop at the former hospital building in Berkeley Springs. Blue Ridge hopes to offer many popular courses to Morgan County residents.

The RESA 8 Head Start, Morgan County Schools and Doodlebugs Learning Station pre-kindergarten program collaboration agreements were approved at the June 5 school board meeting.

The Higher Learning Commission announced it is revoking the school’s accreditation as of August 27.  

Morgan County school officials say they cannot really comment on how three girls were disciplined following a school bus fight on May 24, the last day of school.

New Morgan County School Board members John Rowland and Patricia Springer took their oath of office at the July 2 meeting.
